1.“Fan Doctors” – Keeping the Steel Lungs Breathing
In steel manufacturing systems, industrial fans are not merely auxiliary equipment; they function as the respiratory system of the plant. From dust extraction fans and furnace air supply fans to hot gas circulation systems, all must operate continuously, 24/7, to ensure stable, safe, and energy-efficient production.
However, after long-term operation under extreme conditions, performance degradation is inevitable. That is when TOMECO’s inspection engineers step in. Temperature: Up to 100°C combined with high humidity
Environment: High concentrations of toxic gases such as CO, SO₂, and dense iron oxide dust
Noise: Constantly exceeding permissible levels
To perform their mission, TOMECO’s technical team must be equipped with strict specialized protective gear, including gas-filtering masks, heat-resistant gloves, and anti-dust protective clothing. To ensure absolute data reliability, TOMECO deployed state-of-the-art measurement instruments:
Equipment: Pitot tubes, airflow sensors, differential pressure sensors, digital current and voltage meters
Standards Applied: All data processing procedures strictly comply with TCVN 9440:2013 (ISO 5802:2001)

The modern measurement system deployed by TOMECO on-site enables Hoa Phat to clearly identify performance loss causes such as abnormal pressure drops, fan blade erosion, duct blockages, or dynamic imbalance.
