For the first time in Vietnam, TOMECO has designed, manufactured, and delivered a 1250kW dust extraction fan with an airflow capacity of 320,000 m³/h, meeting the rigorous operational requirements of Vietnam’s largest steel production complex.
FIRST TIME MANUFACTURED IN VIETNAM SERIES
Developed as part of TOMECO’s “First Time Manufactured in Vietnam” series, this project represents a significant milestone — affirming both the technological independence of Vietnam’s manufacturing sector and TOMECO’s role as a leading industrial fan solutions provider.
The fan was engineered with advanced features to withstand extreme working conditions:
Wear and abrasion resistance, tailored for dust-intensive environments in steelmaking.
High-temperature operation up to 250°C.
Enhanced safety with optimized sealing to prevent explosion risks.
Seamless integration with the existing system under tight installation schedules.
By leveraging its end-to-end capabilities — from field survey and R&D to design, fabrication, and installation — TOMECO ensured on-time delivery and successful commissioning.
This achievement highlights TOMECO’s commitment to providing world-class industrial fan solutions for large-scale steel complexes, reducing dependence on imports and strengthening Vietnam’s industrial autonomy.
