TOMECO recently had the honor of welcoming representatives from the Tokyo SME Support Center at its headquarters in Hanoi. This strategic meeting marked a significant step forward in fostering cooperation, investment, and development between Japanese and Vietnamese businesses.
On the afternoon of July 30, 2025, at TOMECO’s headquarters at 53 Nguyen Xien, Hanoi, TOMECO Mechanical and Electrical Joint Stock Company held a formal reception for the delegation from Tokyo SME Support Center. The visit was part of a survey and business-matching program aimed at supporting Japanese enterprises in expanding their investment and business partnerships across the ASEAN region.
Strengthening Japan–Vietnam Business Connectivity
The primary goal of this working session was to explore the potential for collaboration between Japanese companies and reputable Vietnamese partners. Tokyo SME representatives expressed keen interest in learning more about the capabilities and operating models of industrial enterprises in Vietnam, particularly TOMECO. Their support to the Japanese business community includes:
Establishing representative offices in ASEAN
OEM-based production partnerships
Franchising or product distribution collaborations
During the meeting, TOMECO presented an in-depth overview of its technical and manufacturing capabilities, highlighting its strength in delivering highly customized industrial fan solutions and its extensive domestic and international client base. The company also shared key milestones and lessons learned over its 30-year journey, with emphasis on how it has overcome market challenges.
TOMECO reaffirmed its readiness to build strong and diverse partnerships with Japanese companies through collaborative product design, manufacturing, and mechanical component outsourcing.
The working session not only enhanced mutual understanding between the two sides but also laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation. This event is a significant step forward in accelerating trade flows and technology transfer between Vietnam and Japan amid the increasingly deep regional integration.
